Discipleship 101

In this first part of a 2 part writing series, Pastor Joe Brock talks about the TRUE meaning of biblical discipleship and his own spiritual journey in becoming Jesus-like. Jesus called us to become and to make disciples that bear His image and influence. In order for this to take place, the one doing the discipling needs to know the true Jesus enough to give this away to the one being discipled. This is seldom the case, thus resulting in the majority of believers never truly becoming like Jesus. Our call is to make disciples that look like the Christ.  The second message in this 2 part series REPENTANCE gives Biblical steps in helping bring this about.  Read This Article…

Discipleship 102

In a continuation from Discipleship 101, Joe Brock talks about the absolute need to understand and apply the power of REPENTANCE. Jesus declared our ability to apprehend His Kingdom that has now come will be possible by repenting. When you know what true repentance is, and apply it to your walk with Christ, you WILL see Godly, daily changes. Repent therefore, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.  Read This Article…

This first writing teaches that as much as in this first writing of a 2 part series, Pastor Joe Brock shares the two things we see in Jesus’ life that happened immediately before being released into public ministry. This first writing teaches that as much as Jesus was God, He humbled Himself becoming like us in our humanness (yet without sin) and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This was to empower Him to do the ministry of the Father. This is the example we must follow. To truly do the works of the Kingdom, we must first be baptized and empowered by the Spirit of the Kingdom.  Read This Article…

To have a life-long successful ministry, you too much know you are the Lord’s beloved child.  Read This Article…

God’s Ways or His Deeds

Psalm 103:7 says: He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel. This verse illustrates two separate ways to know God. You can be like the sons of Israel who could see God through His deeds, or you can be like Moses and know the intimate and personable ways of God. In this writing, Joe Brock shows you are the only one responsible for your walk with God. By making the right choices, you can experience what God does and have Him share His reasons for doing it.  Read This Article…

Spiritual Pro-Creation

In a society enamoured with making babies but an ever increasing desire to not raise them, Pastor and author Joe Brock writes that the modern day church is very much the same. In a passionate plea, Joe challenges the reader to see that the call to make a disciple is a life long calling.  Read This Article…

The Peter in Each of Us

In this article, pastor and author Joe Brock expounds on the truth that the pride we see in the Apostle Peter we also see in ourselves. Peter was convinced that Jesus needed him more than he needed Jesus. Because of this, Peter lived in such a deep deception that it required an attack from satan directly to bring him into to a place of brokenness. Once humbled, Peter was then able to receive the love and servitude of Jesus for himself. As much as this was in Peter, this same deception can be found in us as well.  Read This Article…

Knowing this will help you see your Christian life as a journey being overseen by a sovereign, loving Father. At the end of the message, the Holy Spirit began moving leading Pastor Joe to open the body he was speaking to into a time of Prophetic Ministry. This was captured on the recording.
